At California Caster we offer a line of bushel carts. These high-quality containers are used in laundries, hospitals, textile mills, garment plants, and throughout the service industry. The foundation of the carts is a top-of-the-line frame construction made with high tensile spring steel electoweld to give extra strength and rigidity. Select kiln-dried hardwood runners are attached to the steel frame. The canvas is made of Glosstex fabric for rugged but cost-effective use.
Here at California Caster, quality is always our number one focus, so we offer a few different models of platform trucks. All our trucks have removable handles, round corners, and recessed handle sockets on all four corners to help protect merchandise, personnel, and buildings. The platform trucks come complete, but you can also buy components separately. The trucks are constructed of 12-gauge material with 2″ X 2″ X 3/16 angle cross braces for caster mounting. They come with bolt-on casters that can be replaced, giving you the ability to customize with wheels that best suit your needs. This will add years of longevity to your material handling products.
Here is another alternative to the Pneumatic (air-filled) caster. Our 3419-6X2 (rigid caster) has a load capacity of 250 pounds and has the standard 4 X 4-1/2″ Top Plate. These casters will fit most industrial carts and large Rubbermaid service carts, to name a few. Give us a call for more info.

These carts save time, space, and money for all route delivery companies and retail or grocery stores. The U-Boat is available in both steel and aluminum and come standard with two removable handles.
A floor lock allows you to create a stationary item from a mobile one, but does not interfere with movement when not in use. Primarily used in heavy duty applications on carts, platform trucks, and dollies. Floor Locks are an independent mechanism that can be attached to an item. The floor lock works by pressing against the item and floor using spring compression that creates friction. A simple press of the foot is all it takes for most floor locks to engage. The floor lock does not “lift” the cart, platform truck, or dolly but can create up to 100 pounds of force against the floor in some models which holds the item in place. This option is ideal for items that have casters with no or limited brake options due to swivel radius or capacity.
