All the light duty top plate swivel casters featured below come with the side lock brake option. A side lock brake applies pressure to the side of the wheel as opposed to the thread. It squeezes the wheel against the rig preventing it from rotating. The brake lever is located on the side of the caster housing and is activated by your foot.
